Composition: Active substance: Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride (equivalent to ciprofloxacin) – 3.00 mg.

Description: The solution contains the fluoroquinolone ciprofloxacin. It is indicated for the treatment of corneal ulcers and superficial infections of the eye and adnexa caused by susceptible strains of bacteria.

Pharmacotherapeutic group: antibacterial drug of the fluoroquinolone group for topical use in ophthalmology.

Indications:
It is indicated for the treatment of:
• corneal ulcers;
• superficial infections of the eye and adnexa caused by susceptible strains of bacteria.

Dosage and administration: Always use the medicine exactly as recommended by your doctor or pharmacist.
For all indications, the maximum recommended duration of treatment is 21 days.
The dosage in children older than 1 year is the same as in adults.

Special Warnings and Precautions:
• For ophthalmic use only.
• CIPROPHTIN should be discontinued at the first appearance of a skin rash or any other signs of hypersensitivity.
• Prolonged use may result in overgrowth of non-susceptible strains of bacteria or fungi.
• When using contact lenses, they should be removed before application of the medicine and reinserted after 15 minutes.
• If more than one topical ophthalmic medicinal product is being used, the medicines should be administered at least 5 minutes apart.
• Eye ointments should be administered last.

Storage conditions: store in a dry place, out of the reach of children, at a temperature not exceeding +25°C. Do not refrigerate or freeze. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the package.

Packaging: appearance: clear, slightly yellowish-greenish solution.
Packaging: 10 ml of the medicinal product in plastic dropper bottles sealed with tamper-evident caps or in plastic dropper bottles sealed with caps. One bottle together with the instructions for medical use in the state and Russian languages is packed in a cardboard carton.
