Dexketoprofen 25 mg
Dexketon is a fast-acting analgesic for short-term relief of acute pain.

Composition: 1 tablet contains: 25 mg dexketoprofen (in the form of dexketoprofen trometamol).

Pharmacotherapeutic group: non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), analgesic, used for the treatment of mild to moderate pain.

Indications:
Dexketon is used for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain, including:
• muscular pain
• dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation)
• toothache

Dosage and administration: Dexketon should be taken only as prescribed by a doctor or pharmacist.
The dose depends on the type, intensity and duration of pain. The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest possible duration.

Usually:
• 1 tablet (25 mg) every 8 hours
• maximum — 3 tablets per day (75 mg)

In elderly patients, as well as in patients with liver or kidney impairment:
• start with a maximum of 2 tablets per day (50 mg)

If well tolerated, the dose may be increased to 75 mg.
In case of severe pain, for faster effect it is recommended to take before meals (at least 30 minutes before).

Contraindications:
Dexketon is not used:
• in case of hypersensitivity to dexketoprofen or any component of the medicine, as well as to other NSAIDs (including aspirin)
• in asthma, allergic rhinitis, nasal polyps, urticaria, angioedema or bronchospasm after taking NSAIDs
• in gastric or intestinal ulcer, bleeding or digestive disorders, or history of these conditions
• in history of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation caused by NSAIDs
• in chronic inflammatory bowel diseases (Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis)
• in severe heart failure, as well as severe liver or kidney impairment
• in blood clotting disorders
• during pregnancy and breastfeeding
• in persons under 18 years.

Storage conditions: store in a dry place, out of sight and reach of children at a temperature not exceeding +30°C. Do not use after the expiry date (indicated on the carton and blister).

Packaging: Dexketon — round, biconvex, film-coated tablets, pink in color. 10 tablets in a transparent PVC and aluminum blister, 2 blisters in a carton box with leaflet.
