Composition: In 1 vial – Ceftriaxone 1g.

Pharmacotherapeutic group: III generation cephalosporin. Broad spectrum antibiotic.

Indications:
Inpatient practice:

  • Severe infections caused by bacteria susceptible to ceftriaxone, including meningitis excluding those with Listeria monocytogenes
  • Disseminated Lyme's disease
  • Perioperative prevention of infections.

Outpatient practice:

  • Continuation of treatment started in the hospital
  • Severe infections of lower respiratory tracts
  • Severe infections of urinary tracts or urinary infections caused by resistant germs
  • Emergency before hospitalization in case of suspicion of purpura fulminans.
