Amikaton 500mg/2ml - Amikacin

Composition: In 1 vial – Amikacin 500mg.

Pharmacotherapeutic group: Broad spectrum antibiotic, aminoglycoside.

Indications: Amikacin injection is used for serious bacterial infections:

  • Septicemia
  • Upper respiratory tract infections
  • Bones and joints infections (including osteomielitis)
  • CNS infections (including meningitis)
  • Bacterial endocarditis
  • Skin and soft tissue pyogenic infections
  • Abdominal infections (including peritonitis)
  • Biliary tract infections
  • Wound infections
  • Postoperative infections
  • Complicated and recurrent UTIs or uncomplicated UTIs not susceptible to other antibiotics
