Dilaza - azithromycin 500 mg

Composition: in 1 tablet – azithromycin 500 mg.

Pharmacotherapeutic group: broad-spectrum antibiotic, macrolide-azalide.

Indications:

- acute bacterial otitis media

- pharyngitis, tonsillitis

- acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis

- community-acquired pneumonia of mild to moderate severity;

- skin and soft tissue infections;

- uncomplicated urethritis and cervicitis caused by Chlamydia trachomatis.

Method administration and dosage:  According to a physician’s prescription. For oral administration.

Adults:

500 mg 1 time per day for 3 days (total dose 1500 mg). Alternatively, the same total dose (1500 mg) can be taken over five days: 500 mg on day 1 and 250 mg on days 2–5.

For the treatment of uncomplicated Chlamydia trachomatis cervicitis and urethritis, the dose is 1000 mg once.

Azithromycin tablets should be prescribed only to those children whose body weight is more than 45 kg, and should be taken strictly as prescribed by the doctor.

Contraindications: hypersensitivity to the active substance, erythromycin, macrolide and ketolide antibiotics, lactose or excipients.

Storage: store closed, at temperatures up to 25˚C, in a place protected from light.

Packing: 3 tablets in 1 blister along with insert leaflet in a cardboard box.
